Chaldun Schrade was born 1986 in Freiburg, south Germany. He started out as a trainee at Filmakadem Ludwigsburg where he was involved into a lot of student film projects. After one year he left to work for “Bavaria Film Studios” in Munich.
Then he began realizing own projects, travelling the globe to maturate the fruit of creativity. To open his mind and create a bigger horizon he made an education in traditional carpentry and worked for various landlords in Spain, France and Morocco.
Besides filmmaking Chaldun Schrade is also a musician and songwriter for Ottoman Empire Soundsystem.
Currently he is studying music, history and technics in Freiburg and his self employed as a freelance filmmaker.
